For children with a serious illness or injury, Children’s Miracle Network and Penn State Health Children’s Hospital step in — and High Construction steps up. High Construction has raised more than $400,000 through its annual golf event that benefits these two organizations serving children and their families. We care about the community and are proud to work with like-minded businesses who sponsor, contribute to, and participate in this event and who take to heart the event’s motto, “It’s all 'fore' the kids.”

The High companies were recognized by the Lancaster Lebanon Habitat for Humanity with its annual Friend of Habitat Award. To help relieve the shortage of affordable housing, High sponsored two of eight townhomes as part of a $1.4 million Habitat for Humanity project on South Queen Street in Lancaster, Pa.

High’s partnership with Habitat included a financial commitment as well as efforts to involve the entire organization.

The ACE Mentor Program’s mission is to engage, excite, and enlighten high school students to pursue careers in architecture, construction, and engineering. High Construction works in partnership with the ACE Mentor Program by providing mentors and teachers to serve as professional role models and career advisors to students. This provides the industry with a boost of new talent. High Construction is actively involved with the Lancaster and Harrisburg ACE Mentor Programs.
