Currently, in the preconstruction phase, High Construction is providing construction management services for Jaindl Enterprises' proposed 560 Waterfront Drive (multifamily residential building) and 545 Riverside Drive (parking garage) as part of a massive development along the banks of the Lehigh River in Allentown, Pa. The $500M development project, called The Waterfront, will include a mix of office, retail, parking, and residential buildings. The first phase of the project includes a six-story, 206-unit apartment building spanning 280,815 square feet, with a 47,551 square foot footprint. The first level of the apartment building will feature amenity space; and an adjoining five-story parking garage will serve both residents and future businesses. The parking garage will be 283,500 square feet with 772 spaces. High Construction has been working with Jaindl Enterprises and other project team members for several months to formalize the plans for this exciting undertaking. Construction for the first phase of the project is slated for fall of 2018 and will last approximately two years.
