LANCASTER, PA—High Construction Company started construction of two new portions of retail space at High Pointe Commons in Harrisburg, including 48,000 square feet of space between anchor stores JCPenney and Target, as well as an adjacent building of 25,000 square feet.
High Construction was awarded a $4.1 million contract to complete the building shells. A mix of retailers will occupy the space.
Deron Henise is serving as senior project manager and Rick Neidlinger is serving as project superintendent.
High Construction is also building the JCPenney store currently under construction at High Pointe Commons.
High Pointe Commons is a joint venture development between CBL & Associates Properties Inc., and High Real Estate Group. The shopping center is expected to total 318,000 square feet when completed. It is scheduled to open in October 2006.
