LANCASTER, PA— Duane Miller was recently hired by High Construction Company, as business development manager.

In his new position, Miller will direct business growth activities, with an emphasis in the eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey regions.  He will strengthen the firm's focus on the healthcare, life science, higher education and corporate markets.

Miller brings 15 years of experience to his new role at High Construction Company.  Previously, with L. F. Driscoll Company in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, he managed business development and marketing activities for the firm's construction management pursuits.  Prior to that, he handled strategic planning and client development activities for the Steege Financial Group in Doylestown, Pennsylvania.

He is an active member of several national organizations, including the Urban Land Institute, dedicated to responsible urban growth, and the Society of Marketing Professional Services for professional engineers, architects, and contractors.

Miller earned a BA in architectural design from the University of Pennsylvania and was awarded certificates in entrepreneurial management and construction management.
