A View From the Top

There are two important things to know about green building: If you’ve never heard of it, you will soon; and if you know the basics and are involved with the building industry, you better learn a lot more—and fast—because it’s here to stay.

Five years ago, design professionals and others had to campaign for the benefits of green building. Today, building owners are demanding it. And, maybe more importantly, many localities are looking at required implementation of LEED standards.

This issue of Constructive Advice features an interview with Frank Fox, president of our affiliated architecture firm, Greenfield Architects Ltd. in the article Building Green with Less ‘Green’. Recently LEED-AP accredited, Frank offers insight on immediate costs, long-term costs, and perhaps most importantly, doing the right thing.

Whether you are building new or renovating, there are ample opportunities for building green and High Construction is ready to help you explore, evaluate, and implement them.
