Jordan Science Center is home to Messiah College's natural science and nursing departments as well as Oakes Museum of Natural History. Construction involved renovating the existing 20,000-square-foot facility and building a 55,000-square-foot addition. General biology and chemistry labs, as well as foods, nutrition science, dissection, physiology, and environmental science labs were added. The main entrance lobby features a 37-foot-high round atrium with full height curtain walls on the exterior side and open student lounges overlooking the atrium space from the upper floors. The atrium and lobby flooring is terrazzo with an inlaid trinity rings design. The interior spaces are accented by custom oak trim throughout.
